The chain

The reasons we fall into habitual distraction, that is a distraction away from the reiterative systems in play from the generations before us. As we grow and learn how to simply be in the world within the complexities of our society. Knowing our lives are finite on a horizon of infinites, and the endless internal debate of what impact we make on the world by living and breathing. How empowered we actually are within the inherited complexities of societal order.

How much power may have in fact been given away by our predecessors, with the fear a whole generation will occur with an acceptance of abstraction.

That is an abstraction of say, in the sense of starting a car without the full knowledge of how an engine runs. There are so people that do not know how a motor works, a four to eight cylinder, the difference between a diesel or petrol engine, an electric car or a hybrid. Yet a tool for transport many use in their every day.

The many advances of technology equates to the fact that knowledge regarding the many tools a human may utilize for their quality of life, requires a level of abstraction.

So is that the way forward? Again, while factoring in our life path may somewhat be predetermined.

So while we seem to always be able to trust a mechanic to explain to us the workings of an engine, or just pay adequately to socially confirm the trust. Or know you shall have to pay adequately if you do not know how to check your own oil.

How much abstraction are we allowing in the realm of IT, information technology? As IT and business equates to less transparency in systems we rely on, and business tactics always provide a veil to the growth of information technology.

Noting the water usage of datacenters, the strategic placement of datacentres, especially for the instances data on individuals who are a perceived “threat” to business growth can be looked into. This can contribute both positively and negatively to societal order.

And an IT companies ability for disaster recovery, equates to, nothing is ever deleted from what you do.

The complexities of the ethics of data collation. Especially unaudited data collation.

So there is the knowledge we do not have the time to grasp, and accept the tool for the jobs we need to do. The knowledge we do need national transparency on, national modes of ethics regarding what is fact, what plays a significant role to our societal order and what does not.

As generations with large levels of abstraction may occur, and not providing information for the future generations regarding the systems pertaining to societal order, and therefore also risk is negligent.

Yet, that seems to have been the case for some generations now.

Those who may have been privy to knowledge, typically have inherited some wealth and may also be sitting in positions where they are likely to abuse power. So again, we are not a democracy, we are more a timocracy, oligarchy, in many ways with the wealth and ambition of business impacts the trajectories of the nation and its people.
