Only as strong as the weakest member.

And health is wealth.

Yet how do we classify a state of “health”.

Societies with a purely individualistic orientation see generations which only maintain a connection for competition. The balance of collectivism and individualism within a society. Each person requires a need of feeling freedom to maximize their potential within their lifespan, however human potential must also serve the collective.

How we grow as people, when puberty hits and we determine the ways our vessel can be used for manipulation or attention of others. Information we gather about ourselves in all the years leading up to prepubescence. Or what we feel is lacking in this regard to gain in our power as adults.

What education and regimentation is required within an ethical system. The many layers of maintaining individual health, which is in effect maximizing potential, without building heavy dependencies on a particular system.

Know thy microbiome.

Especially before you mix it with others!

And before you accept certain medications as the solution to your wellness!

The microbiome.

A community of ~100 trillion microorganisms that inhabit your body. The human body contains more than ten times as many microbial cells than human cells. There are commensal relationships within the microbiome, symbiotic and pathogenic.

The microbiome in your body can weigh 2 – 3 kg, with at least 1,000 species of known bacteria. This mutualistic relationship we have with our microbiome must be maintained, as the metabolic activities of the bacteria in the microbiome resembles an organ that is key to health.

It is how we ferment undigested foods, extract nutrients, assists in training the immune system, prevents growth of the pathogenic bacteria, regulates development of the gut and produces vitamins and enzymes for the human host. Also producing our neuroactive hormones.

How we must love the wisdom of bacteria, the first lifeform to exist on earth!

Classifications of the bacteria’s that we coexist with, the hierarchy. The phylum, sub phylum, class order, family species and strain.

Bacterial Metabolites, that is, the substances produced by gut bacteria during accretion of energy and nutrients.

Pro-biotics, the peace keepers!

Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs), some gut bacteria produce these during digestion of dietary fibre. Butyrate, along with acetate and propionate, are metabolites produced by some species of gut bacteria during the digestion of dietary fibre. The SCFA, butyrate is the primary energy source for our gut epithelial cells. All SCFA have numerous benefits to our overall system as an anti-inflammatory, immunoregulatory function of the body.

Endotoxins, when a cell dies these toxins are no longer held within the bacterial cell and released into the system. Such as lipopolysaccharide, a pro-inflammatory
substance linked to cardiovascular disease and numerous other ailments.

Then there are the ratios, Prevotella to Bacteroides, for example. The small balancing acts on the microscale within this complex ecosystem within our bodies.

Firmicutes, the grass of our gut that feeds on sugars and carbohydrates, transports and metabolizes amino acids.

Bacteroidetes, the protein eaters, good for the gut brain axis and mood regulation.

Proteobacteria – the proinflammatory, can include pathogens.

Euryarchaeota, Lentisphaerae – for sleep quality, Synergistetes, Planctomycetes, Cyanobacteria, Tenericutes,

Actinobacteria- a protector from pathogenic bacteria,

Verrucomicrobia – strengthens the gut wall and reduces inflammation.

And I haven’t even listed the peace keepers.

The evolution of this microscale of life that has been on this planet before we have existed as a homonids, the wisdom we can gain from them and their many functions.

To self regiment for health, and therefore wealth.

Yet we abuse this power we have over our wise bacterial cohosts on the regular, impacting mood, cognition and connection.

Listen to your gut is essentially listen to the wisdom of the first life on planet earth. Bacteria and its many variants.

Yet the voices in the room to detract from this voice of reason, say I can critique from the outside the united states. Florida and its “Brazilian butt lifts in Miami”, California and its “silicon valley”.

The new cultures fed from a need for economies to provide “freedom” to individuals, yet creates new prisons of the psyche and body.

The many modes of addiction, the ways humans compartmentalize without insight to the ego they develop to maintain their inner ID.

The ethics of sanctity of living things, contrasts female reproductive rights being taken away again in recent years in states such as Florida in the united states. Women who struggle to feed themselves, may not have had appropriate developmental education then yet must conceive if impregnated.

Lets talk more on that, the ethics of abortion from a place of sanctity and faith. What is really sacred on earth, what kind of system dependencies within a society are ethical, how human life is significantly precious but so is bacteria the oldest life on earth that we essentially host.

How badly human life can be impacted by greed and lack of follow through, what kind of system dependencies can be created from a place of greed and lack of holistic thinking- such as the grief of the thalidomide generation.
