Such as a piece of classical music that has a level of self reference. Consciousness is reiterative, a learning acquired after an information feedback cycle has been completed.
Yet consciousness must flow beyond that learning, to build intelligence.
And how many times do we repeat the same thing before we learn from it? That is typically the marker of intelligence yes?

Yet not necessarily, there can be new information gathered in each feedback cycle to completely understand the problem.
The many digital systems with reiterative self reference for learning in play in this day and age, along with what outcomes are being incorporated into the larger networks of computational systems.
Then there is the architecture in the digital systems and design of said system to consider.
All while we are still grasping how to improve place based systems for sustainability of our species footprint on the earth and its systems.
Design theory for humanity to remain in a digital system does exist, such as the varying pattern languages that have been incorporated.
Yet such as the many physical cityscapes where architecture does not reflect the human user, or the systems that sustain humanity. The same problems exist in the digital realm.
The ambiguities of the future, symbology in the system, theorems embedded within large computational powers that are rapidly expanding across the earth such as those which factor in infinite growth of the digital realm. Along with the ambiguity of datacenter networks impacting human cognition.
Digital systems care not for the waste they create, as the footprint impacts what is living. The waste in the system is a learning, as our physical waste should be for us.
So again digital twinning is a point of concern for what is in effect key in creating order for western civilization. And whether computational powers and datacenter networks are in fact impacting self cognition at the individual level.
