The blue chip.
Reliability, stability, value.
It is not a fixed setting of any individual but it is always there.
To be true blue, you have to know you.
The truth within.
The terms we look at for investing and associate with financial gain always have an origin. A blue chip company, a blue chip suburb, blue chip stock. These are all efforts of collectives of individuals with countless learnings to create something of value. The hard part is that the collective effort, moral compass if you will, that makes a suburb or company “blue chip”. That is, lucrative, stable and reliable, passes over time. Does not necessarily equate to a global or diverse standard of ethics in the modern day. Just money and privilege that can be gained.
Which makes the term lose value as within a person, it is your ethics.
We find ethics in times of grief, reflection.
As one does in fact learn from sitting with pain in the body, knowing what hurts.
It is the limits of what you are willing to do, that you will indeed carry with you.
It is the voice of reason you have within, it is how you back yourself, to know you trust yourself.
It is the focus, the eyes ahead, away from the repetition of why, how, when, what and who.
Trust is big, when it is broken. Ah, it breaks hard, but sometimes gold is there in the broken pieces.
The gold within can mend you.
The blue can direct you, the chip of self awareness to be true.
You might find it below your right clavicle. The energy that extends up towards your ear.
